MONROE, La. – The Warhawks (28-17, 10-9 SBC) close out the regular season with a three-game series with in-state rival No. 10/11 UL Lafayette (34-8, 17-3 SBC) at the ULM Softball Complex.
Currently sitting in fifth place in the conference standings, this weekend's series will shape the Warhawks seeding next week at the 2015 Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
The Cajuns are currently at the top of the conference standings.
One win in the three-game series will allow ULM to break the program's most Sun Belt wins in a single season (10) set back in 2011.
The series is scheduled for a doubleheader on Saturday, May 2 with games slated at 2 and 4 p.m. The series finale is set for Sunday, May 3 at 12 p.m. with the series finale being designated as Senior Day.
Before Sunday's first pitch, the Warhawks will honor their 2015 senior class in pre-gam festivities.

Scouting the Opponent
Head coach Michael Lotief has lead the Cajuns to a 34-8 overall record, 17-3 Sun Belt record and a No.10/11 national ranking in his 13th season with the program.
UL Lafayette come into the weekend series after being swept by No. 2 Oregon in a three-game series in Eugene, Ore.
ULL has faced three other ranked opponents this season having swept a doubleheader with then-ranked No. 14 Baylor, splitting a three-game series with then-ranked No. 4 Alabama two games to one and opening Sun Belt play with a series win over then-ranked No. 24 South Alabama.
The Cajuns took two games from the Jaguars.
In Sun Belt action, UL Lafayette has swept three series against Georgia State, Georgia Southern and UT Arlington. The Cajuns also took a doubleheader sweep over Appalachian State.
UL Lafayette won series over Texas State and Troy in 2-1 decisions.
The Cajuns are led offensively by Lexie Elkins who holds a .425 average through 42 games play to rank third in the conference. Elkins has scored 36 runs this season while driving home a conference-leading 63 runs.
She is also the team's and conferece's home run leader with 25 homers helping Elkins to rank first in the conference in slugging percentage.
As a team, UL Lafayette averages .345 at the plate which is good for first in the conference.
Jordan Wallace is the veteran leader in the circle for UL Lafayette. Wallace holds a 2.01 ERA through 111.1 innings pitched, the second best ERA in the conference, to hold a 14-4 record.
Wallace has struck out 164 of 377 batters faced, the second best total in the conference, and has only issued 47 walks this season. Opponents average just .141 against her which ranks first in the conference.
The Cajun pitching staff holds a 2.17 team ERA through 42 games played, the best team ERA in the conference, with opponents averaging .184 against them.
Series History
Long-time rivals, ULM and UL Lafayette have met 125 times previously with the Cajuns leading the all-time series 28-97.
UL Lafayette has won the last nine-straight meetings with the Warhawks last win coming in 2012.
The Warhawks will be looking for their first series win in Sun Belt action over the Cajuns.

•With 43 RBI on the season, Faith Bohack is just four RBI shy of setting a new single-season record in the category.
Game Rewind
ATLANTA – Junior Faith plated six of the ULM's nine runs as the Warhawks (28-17, 10-9 SBC) topped Georgia State (32-19; 11-10 SBC) in the series finale at Robert E. Heck Softball Stadium.
With 10 wins in conference play, ULM ties the most Sun Belt Conference wins in a single season in program history with a chance to break the record with a lone series left with UL-Lafayette.
With 28 win on the season, the Warhawks have also picked up the most wins in a single-season since 2001 when the program won 31 games.
Bohack led the offense going 2-for-4 with a three-RBI homer and a three-RBI double on the day. Bohack also scored two runs for the Warhawks.
The six-RBI day sets a new single-game high for the junior, breaking her five-RBI, single-game total she set against Morehead State on Feb. 7, 2014. It's the most RBI in a single game for a Warhawk since senior Alexis Cacioppo drove home six at UL-Lafayette on May 2, 2014.
Bohack brings her season RBI total to 43 to place fifth on the single-season record and is just four RBI shy of setting a new single-season record.
Senior Mackenzie Miller, junior Amye Barre and senior Alexis Cacioppo picked up lone RBI on the day with Cacioppo knocking a solo homer on the day.
Senior Jessica Colliver made the start, but was knocked out after a third of an inning as she gave up three runs off three hits. Freshman Paige Porter came in for a relief appearance and dealt five innings of five-hit, shut-out softball.
Sophomore Melanie Coyne close out the game with 1.1 innings in relief as she allowed three runs on five hits.
Porter was tagged with the win to move to 10-4 on the season to put two Warhawk pitchers with double-digit wins.
