FROM COACH HILTZ

About the match: I feel like the first two sets we were overthinking everything. When we think too much we speed the game up on ourselves too much. When you combine that with the fact that Arkansas State plays at a very fast pace already....well, you get the scores we got in sets one and two. In the third we calmed down quite a bit and began to play more within ourselves. The results were obviously much better. Still, after their timeout late in the third, we finished the match by committing seven errors in a row. Not mindless tentative errors but errors nonetheless and we can't afford to do that late in a match.

About the players: Sarah played consistently for us tonight offensively. The whole team was certainly trying hard but we simply overwhelmed ourselves early and couldn't recover.

Where do we go from here: The key is to learn from our mistakes tonight. Since most of them were based on the psychological side of things, it's important for us to erase this match from our short term memory and get ready for Little Rock tomorrow.

About tomorrows match: UALR poses a completely different set of challenges so it's really key that we turn our focus on to tomorrow's match quickly.
