AUBURN, Al. – Auburn's offense racked up 688 total yards, including 309 in the first half, as the host Tigers pushed past ULM 58-7 on Saturday afternoon.

TURNING POINT
-Trailing 7-0 late in the first quarter, ULM's Tre' Hunter forced a fumble on a sack of Auburn quarterback Sean White, setting the Warhawks up at the 21 yard line. On the ensuing play, ULM quarterback Garrett Smith's pass was complete to Xavier Brown before Brown fumbled and Auburn regained possession. Auburn then traveled four plays and 83 yards to push it to a two touchdown game and didn't look back.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Warhawks' first six possessions included four punts and a blocked field goal in addition to the fumble. Following the fumble recovery, Auburn proceeded to score on its next seven possessions to take control of the game.
-Auburn finished with 410 total rushing yards, while ULM accounted for 251 total offensive yards in the game.
-A pair of quarterbacks for the hosts combined to go 15-for-18 through the air (Sean White 14-17, 2 TD), and eight players tallied carries for the Tigers, led by Kerryon Johnson's 146 yards.
-With Auburn up 7-0 in the first quarter, ULM's Caleb Tucker blocked the Tiger's 37-yard field goal attempt to hold the game steady for the moment. The field goal block was the second of Tucker's career (also blocked FG attempt vs. Nicholls last season).
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
-Garrett Smith finished the game 19-for-33 passing with 139 total yards through the air, including one touchdown and one interception. He added eight rushes for 21 yards to his final stat line.
-A total of nine different Warhawk receivers caught passes in the game, led my Marcus Green's seven catch, 40 yard game. Green also pulled in the ULM touchdown just before halftime. Xavier Brown tallied 41 total yards on two catches, including a 37-yard completion – Smith's longest pass of the game.
-Cortez Sisco led the ULM defense with 12 total tackles, including eight solo tackles, while Nick Ingram recorded eight tackles and both Roland Jenkins and Hunter finished with six tackles. A total of 29 different Warhawks recorded a tackle.
-After throwing two touchdowns in each of the first three games, Smith was held to just the one passing touchdown on Saturday. ULM surrendered over 300 yards rushing for the second consecutive game as Auburn ran for 410 total yards.

After playing three consecutive road games, the Warhawks will return home for the first time since the season opener against Southern on September 3. ULM will host Idaho next Saturday inside JPS Field at Malone Stadium in the first of back-to-back home games. Following the Idaho game, ULM will celebrate Homecoming the next weekend against Texas State.
