FROM COACH HILTZ

About the match: It's one thing to lose when you're fighting hard for every point. Those are the times you can walk away feeling like you improved and got better. It's an entirely different circumstance when there's no fire, no desire and an overall fear of even being out on the court. No matter how well we perform in practice, it doesn't matter if you can't execute and perform at your best on game day. These past few performances have been completely unacceptable. We have to start seeing some change soon. Even a desire to change would be a start.

Looking forward: Texas State is even tougher than UTA. It will take a large turnaround from tonight's performance for us to compete against them tomorrow. I know we are capable. The question is if we are willing.

UP NEXT

-Next up on the slate for the Warhawks is Texas State. ULM make the short drive to San Marcos to take on the Bobcats Saturday night.
