QUOTEABLES

Head Coach Keyton Wheelock

Thought on the game: I'm really proud - our team but in a tremendous second half after struggling early on. They put in a lot of hard work we fixed a few things at the half and they came out in the second half and put together a team performance together. Everyone did their jobs to help the collective whole and I am extremely excited for Emely. She has been knocking on the door a long time throughout the season and I was happy to see her get those two goals today.

Both of Emely's goals: She was clinical and she didn't give up on the last one, they made the first save but weren't able to hold onto it and it was trickling in and she was able to keep going. She worked hard she didn't give up on herself or on the team and that is the type of performance that you need.

Building Momentum going into SBC: You always like to win because when you win you build confidence but at the same time every opponent we face is a different opponent as well as every game is different. This is a new season every game is important but we have to start looking to our next one against UALR next Friday.

Emely Portillo-Segovia

First goal what did you see: On the first goal I just drove to the goal as coach has been trying to tell me to do more and to take the chances when you have them and you have to take the shot when you have it and on that chance it worked out for me.

Game winning goal: Danielle Sabathe was feeding me the ball all game and she just gave me another great ball through that was able to work out and give us the win.
