-ULM forced 21 turnovers and turn that into 28 points off of those turnovers. The Warhawks also led the way in second chance points with nine compared to Georgia State's seven.

FROM COACH DOW

About the game: We knew that they would be changing up defenses on us today and they did. I think everything that we prepared for we saw and I thought we did a good job of handling it with some poise. Some of the presses and traps that they got into, we did better than just break it and got some layups out of it as well. Another point that we focused on was defending the three-point line. Makeba Ponder is arguably one of the best three-point shooters in the league and not only did she not make a three, but the whole team did not make a three-point shot. Finally, our rebounding effort was so much better than it has been.

About the team: We had a lot of kids step up throughout the game including all of our freshman. Logan Oestreich made a lot of hustle plays down the stretch, London Archer did a lot of good things even though it doesn't necessarily show up in the stat sheet and Carissa Moody gave us a lot of energy. Dani Anderson also did a good job tonight and is really a glue-type player. She doesn't always fill out the stat sheet, but she makes some hustle plays and keeps the mistakes to a minimum. It was a great team win and hopefully something that we can build on.

UP NEXT

-The Warhawks will take this momentum on the road next week to face Texas State Thursday night before facing UTA next Saturday.
