Arlington, Texas – The ULM men's basketball team stays in the Lone Star State for a second straight road contest on Monday night. The Warhawks will be in Sun Belt Conference action in San Marcos against Texas State at 7:00 p.m. Monday night's game will be available on the Warhawk Radio Network and on Texasstatebobcats.com on Monday.

The Warhawks enter the tilt with a 6-13 mark, coming off of a loss at UT Arlington on Saturday, while Texas State is 10-8, coming off a six-point loss over the Ragin Cajuns on Saturday evening.

Last Time Out: ULM struggled down the stretch against UTA Saturday and ultimately could not overcome a19-2 run by the Mavericks to close the game as the hosts handed the Warhawks a 71-55 loss on Saturday in Sun Belt Conference play.

Head-to-Head: The Warhawks and Bobcats meet on Monday for the 48th time in program history. The Warhawks hold a solid 29-18 lead in the all-time series, including having won five of the last seven meetings, including the last four matchups.

Scouting the Bobcats: Texas State enters Monday's contest coming off of a six-point loss at home to the Ragin Cajuns on Saturday. The Bobcats are led by Kevin Gilder-Tilbury as he is averaging 16.4 points per game this season while averging 5.6 rebounds per game.

Assist Mark: Senior Nick Coppola currently sits with 492 assists over his three-plus seasons with the Warhawks. He is just eight assists away from becoming the seventh active NCAA Division I player to have 1,000 points and 500 assists in his career. He eclipsed the 1,000-point mark earlier this season when he scored a season-high 23 points against Jacksonville State on December 10.

Sun Belt Leaders: Following the January 21 slate of Sun Belt games, Travis Munnins is currently second in the SBC with 8.7 rebounds per game and he also ranks 6th in minutes per game with 32.5 minutes per game. Nick Coppola sits third in the Sun Belt averaging 4.4 assists per game, while he also sits in first with a 2.6 assist to turnover ratio. Coppola also leads the conference with 36.5 minutes per game so far this year. In conference-only games, Coppola is in first place in league games averaging 38.8 minutes per game, Munnings is in fifth with 36.3 minutes per game.

Sharing the Basketball: The Warhawks have 252 assists on 471 made baskets so far this season. Nick Coppola leads the way with 83 assists, while Travis Munnings has 41 assists so far this season and Jordon Harris has 34 assists on the season. As a team, the Warhawks have assisted on 53.5 percent of their made baskets this season.
