Monroe, La. – The ULM softball team has released its 2017 schedule with a total of 56 regular season games, which includes four non-conference tournaments and nine Sun Belt Conference series.

Home games: The Warhawks will start the season with three days of games in Monroe February 10-12. The team totals 23 home games throughout the season. ULM will also be host to five, three-game conference series and three non-conference matchups. One of those non-conference games that ULM will host will include state rival Louisiana Tech on April 12. The Warhawks will play as host to two 2016 NCAA Regional teams in Texas State (March 25-26) and Louisiana-Lafayette (May 6-7).
Away/Neutral Site: After opening the season at home, the team begin its travel schedule to play a single game at McNeese before playing in three tournaments on the road. The Warhawks will travel for three weeks starting at the end of February and ending with their first Sun Belt action against UTA on March 12. ULM will play 33 total games away from home. Included in the non-conference schedule will be a pair of games against Georgia in Athens as part of a Georgia-hosted tournament, four games at the Central Arkansas Tournament and four games - including matchups with NCAA Tournament team Princeton and Houston at the Houston Hilton Plaza Classic. The Warhawks will also travel to take on LSU on March 28 in Baton Rouge.
Sun Belt Conference: The Warhawks will begin their conference schedule in March with their first Sun Belt Conference series against UT Arlington. The other conference teams that the Warhawks will face are Georgia Southern, Texas State, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, Troy, South Alabama, Georgia State and Louisiana-Lafayette for a total of 27 conference games. The Warhawks will host the 2016 Sun Belt Champions Louisiana-Lafayette to close out their regular season schedule on May 6-7.
Post season: The Sun Belt Championship will feature the top eight teams in the conference. The tournament will be single elimination and is set to begin on May 10 in Troy, Alabama.
