MONROE, La. – The ULM men's basketball team returns to Fant-Ewing Coliseum for five of its last seven regular season contests, beginning Saturday afternoon against South Alabama. The matchup with the Jaguars will tip at 4:00 p.m. and be available to listen on the Warhawk Radio Network and can also be seen on Warhawks All-Access.

The Warhawks enter the tilt with a 7-17 mark, coming off a 69-55 loss to Georgia State on Monday, while South Alabama is 11-12, coming off a 76-71 win on Saturday over Troy.

Last Time Out: ULM could not overcome a hot start by Georgia State on Monday night as the host Panthers came away with a 69-55 victory in Sun Belt Conference play in Atlanta.

Head-to-Head: The Warhawks and Jaguars meet on Saturday for the 22nd time in program history. The Warhawks come into Saturday's matchup having won the last seven meetings against the Jaguars. In their last meeting in Monroe, the Warhawks had five players score in double figures in route to a 100-68 victory.

Home Cooking: The Warhawks will hit a historic milestone on Saturday against South Alabama. Saturday's game will be the 600th game in the history of Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Warhawks hold a 423-176 all-time inside Fant-Ewing. The Warhawks moved to 6-3 this season inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum with a 68-52 win over Little Rock on Monday night. The Warhawks are now 33-7 over their last two and half seasons inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

Scouting the Jaguars: The Jaguars enter Saturday afternoon's contest coming off of a 76-71 victory over their in state foe Troy last Saturday. On the season South Alabama is paced by Ken Williams with 13.0 points per game while Josh Ajayi is averaging 11.0 points per game while grabbing 5.5 rebounds per game. Don MuepoKelly is averaging a team best 5.7 rebounds per game while also averaging 8.8 points per game.

Sun Belt Leaders: Following the February 6 slate of SBC games, Nick Coppola sits third in the league averaging 4.2 assists per game while also leading the league in assist to turnover ratio with a 2.8 mark. Coppola leads the league in minutes per game with a 37.0 minutes per game clip which is over two more minutes than the next best in the league. Travis Munnings ranks seventh in the league with 32.7 minutes per game. Munnings ranks second in the league in rebounding with an average of 8.3 rebounds per game.

Sharing the Basketball: The Warhawks have 316 assists on 588 made baskets so far this season. Nick Coppola leads the way with 101 assists, while Travis Munnings has 53 assists so far this season and Jordon Harris has 39 assists on the season. As a team, the Warhawks have assisted on 53.7 percent of their made baskets this season. The Warhawks have had three games with 20+ assists including a pair of games with 23 assists. The Warhawks rank fourth in the SBC with the 53.7 only Texas State 57.5, Appalachian State 55.9 and UT Arlington 54.2 have a higher percentage of assists to made baskets this season.
