Monroe, La. - ULM sophomore guard
Arsula Clark has been named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt Third Team, as selected by the league's head coaches.
The 5-foot-9 Clark ranked second on the team in scoring as a freshman, averaging 10.4 points per game while making 25 starts and playing in all 30 games as a freshman in 2017-18. Clark led the Warhawks in rebounding (5.9), assists (80), steals (43) and blocked shots (22).
A native of Douglasville, Ga., Clark scored in double figures 15 times last season, including a season-high 21 points against Little Rock on March 1. She scored in double figures over six consecutive games from mid-January to early February, including back-to-back double doubles during the stretch. Clark tallied 18 points and 13 rebounds against Troy on Jan. 25, and followed it up with 16 points and 13 rebounds against South Alabama on Jan. 27.
ULM is scheduled to open the 2018-19 season Fri., Nov. 9 at SMU with tip-off at 11 a.m. The Warhawks are set to open the home schedule on Thurs., Nov. 15 with an 11 a.m. tip against LSU-Alexandria.
