ULM, BancorpSouth & Blakeway Team Up for 360 Fan Photo at Homecoming

Football
MONROE, La. – ULM and BancorpSouth Bank (NYSE: BXS) have teamed up with Blakeway Gigapixel to bring the first-ever fan photo to the school in an effort to increase fan engagement.

On Saturday, Nov. 2, ULM will host a 360-degree Blakeway Gigapixel Fan Photo during the Homecoming football game against Arkansas State, sponsored by BancorpSouth. Billions of pixels in size, the photo will appear online for fans to interact and tag high-definition images of themselves "Right Where They Are" in accordance with BancorpSouth's slogan. The Gigapixel photo will be taken immediately after the end of the first quarter and will appear online 24-48 hours after the game.

"We're excited to provide Warhawk Nation with an opportunity to capture this Homecoming moment during a nationally televised game in Malone Stadium," ULM Athletics Director Scott McDonald said. "It's also fitting that this year's Homecoming theme is 'We Are 1' as we all come together to cheer on the Warhawks in this important game against Sun Belt Conference West Division rival Arkansas State."

Blakeway gigapixel photos are taken with cutting edge equipment that produces hundreds of high-resolution images that are then stitched together by the Blakeway team. The 25 billion pixels allow fans to rotate, zoom and find themselves in the stadium. At full resolution, the image would stretch over 13,000 TVs.

"We continue to look for ways to connect with our local communities and create greater engagement and brand awareness," said BancorpSouth President Kevin Koh - Louisiana Region. "Therefore, we're pleased to be able to help bring this great fan experience to ULM's homecoming game."

Taggable versions of the photo can be found on the university and BancorpSouth's social channels. Fans can also sign up in advance for the photo here. The 360 Gigapixel photo is one element of BancorpSouth's game sponsorship that also will include surprise giveaways to ULM fans as part of the BancorpSouth Gameday Surprise.
