Monroe, La. - After a large amount of rain fell in Monroe over the weekend and more rain is forecasted for Monday, ULM and Northwestern State agreed to push back this week's mid-week contest from Tuesday to Wednesday, head coach
Michael Federico announced Monday morning.
The game will now be played at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Warhawk Field in Monroe.
It marks the second of three meetings this year between the Warhawks and Demons. ULM is coming off a weekend sweep of Georgia State to sit at 14-18 overall and 5-7 in the Sun Belt Conference, and have won seven of their last nine games overall. NSU is 19-11 overall and 9-6 in the Southland Conference after sweeping Nicholls State over the weekend. The Demons have won six straight games overall.
