#ProHawks 2021 Baseball Season Wrap-Up

MONROE, La. – As Major League Baseball begins the 2021 postseason, the year has come to an end for four former Warhawks playing in the minor leagues.
 
Keegan Curtis, Right-Handed Pitcher, Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks, AAA)
Curtis finished the season with Triple-A Reno in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization after getting traded by the New York Yankees in late June. After starting out in Double-A with the Somerset Patriots and Amarillo Sod Poodles, he was promoted by the Diamondbacks to Triple-A Reno in mid-July. In total, Curtis made 25 appearances in 2021, posting a 3-4 record with four saves. He had a 4.28 ERA, allowing 20 runs, 13 earned, on 28 hits with 12 walks and 35 strikeouts. He missed nearly six weeks late in the season due to injury.
 
Chad Bell, Infielder, Somerset Patriots (New York Yankees, AA)
Bell wrapped up the season with Double-A Somerset in the New York Yankees organization, getting promoted twice during the season. The Yankees promoted Bell from Low-A Tampa to High-A Hudson Valley in mid-June before promoting him again to Double-A Somerset in early August. He played in 98 games, slashing .239/.330/.471 with 10 doubles, four triples and 21 home runs while scoring 54 runs and 56 RBIs. He hit safely in four of his final seven games with a pair of home runs.
 
Trey Jeans, Left-Handed Pitcher, Winston-Salem Dash (Chicago White Sox, High-A)
Jeans ended the season with High-A Winston Salem in the Chicago White Sox organization. He was promoted from Low-A Kannapolis in late May. Overall, he was 4-4 with a 6.05 ERA in 34 appearances and 55 innings, allowing 44 runs, 37 earned, on 62 hits with 28 walks and 78 strikeouts. While at High-A Winston-Salem, he was 4-4 with a 5.94 ERA over 29 appearances and 47 innings, allowing 35 runs, 31 earned, on 48 hits with 25 walks and 64 strikeouts.
 
Trent Tingelstad, Outfielder, Modesto Nuts (Seattle Mariners, Low-A)
Tingelstad spent the entire 2021 season with the Low-A Modesto Nuts in the Seattle Mariners organization. He played in 76 games, slashing .260/.384/.396 with 19 doubles, one triple and six home runs while scoring 50 runs and picking up 53 RBIs. He hit safely in his final four appearances and 10 of his last 12 appearances, including a season-high four hits with a double, three RBIs and a run scored on Sept. 17 at Stockton.
