MONROE, La. – The ULM volleyball team visits the Natural State for a pair of matches, starting at 6 p.m. Friday at Little Rock and continuing at 6 p.m. Saturday at Arkansas State.
The Warhawks average 10.4 kills per set, 9.3 assists per set and 14.3 digs per set. Senior Cali Assaley leads ULM with 283 kills on the season an average of 3.41 kills per set. Junior Mariana Volponi e Giordan has a team-best 5.69 assists per at with a total of 370 assists on the year. Junior Madeline Hogan has 233 digs and average 3.88 per set.
ULM lost to Little Rock, 3-0, on Oct. 8. The Trojans recorded six aces and the Warhawks finished with 25 errors compared to just nine from the Trojans. Little Rock averages 13.1 kills per set, 12.5 assists per set and 16.1 digs per set. The Trojans are 13-10 on the season and 4-7 in the Sun Belt Conference.
ULM dropped its last match against Arkansas State, 3-1, in Monroe on Oct. 10. The Red Wolves are averaging 13 kills per set, 12.1 assists per set and 18.4 digs per set. The Red Wolves are 13-10 this season and 4-7 in the SBC.
