MONROE, La. – The ULM volleyball team concludes its regular season with two home matchups in Fant-Ewing Coliseum, hosting Texas State at 6 p.m. Friday and UT Arlington at 11 a.m. Sunday.
The Warhawks sit at 5-24 on the season with a 1-13 record in the Sun Belt Conference. ULM averages 10.3 kills per set, 9.3 assists per set and 14.4 digs per set.
Individual stat leaders for the Warhawks include senior
Cali Assaley with 314 kills this season with an average of 3.41 kills per set. Junior
Mariana Volponi e Giordan has 425 assists with an average of 5.85 assists per set this season. Junior
Madeline Hogan has recorded 233 digs for an average of 3.88 digs per set.
Texas State enters Friday's match with an overall record of 16-11 and 12-2 in SBC play. The Bobcats boast a 10-game win streak moving into the weekend. In this season's first meeting in San Marcos, the Warhawks were limited to 16 or less points per set as the Bobcats won 3-0.
Texas State averages 13.6 kills per set, 12.7 assists per set and 15.9 digs per set.
UT Arlington sits at 9-14 on the season. They currently have a three-game win streak. Earlier this season, the Mavericks defeated ULM, 3-0, as they picked up their first conference win of the year.
UT Arlington's Briana Brown was named SBC Offensive Player of the Week. She recorded 28 kills against Little Rock and an attack percentage of .423 against Arkansas State.
The Mavericks average 12.5 kills per set, 11.4 assists per set and 16.9 digs per set.
