Privateers Claim Series, Drop Warhawks, 7-4

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans scored in five consecutive innings and never let ULM take the lead as the Privateers notched a 7-4 win Saturday at Maestri Field to clinch a series victory.

ULM (1-2 overall) tied the game up in the third, fourth and fifth innings, but the Privateers (4-2) regained the lead each time, adding a run in the bottom of the fifth inning and two more in the sixth to secure the win.

Andrew Beesley paced ULM with three hits, an RBI, a run scored and a walk.
