MONROE, La. – The ULM soccer team resumes its 2021 spring season at 2 p.m. Monday with a match at Nicholls State.
The Warhawks have been off since Feb. 23 when they beat Grambling State, 2-0, at Brown Stadium. ULM is 3-1 in matches played in the spring portion of the 2020-21 schedule, posting three clean sheets in wins over UT Tyler (3-0), Southern (3-0) and Grambling.
In the spring season,
Janet Stopka has accounted for five of ULM's eight goals, while
McKenzie Rizqi has two and
Thenia Zervas has one.
Hailey Hillock has one shutout and has combined with
Mickaela Leal for the other two shutouts.
Nicholls enters Monday's match at 0-9 on the season and has been outscored 27-0. The Colonels last played on Friday in a Southland Conference match at Lamar, falling 2-0.
