GRAMBLING, La. – Grambling State used a 3-run second inning, a 4-run fourth inning and a 5-run sixth inning to build a large lead and cruise past ULM, 15-3, Tuesday afternoon at Wilbert-Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park.
The Tigers (6-14 overall) were led by Joseph Gunn, who finished with three hits, including a pair of 2-run home runs. Jahmoi Percival had two hits with three RBIs while Keylon Mack also added a home run on the day.
GSU starting pitcher Antoine Valerio (2-1) threw a season-high seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits with no walks and five strikeouts.

Britt McKay had two hits and two runs scored in his first start as a Warhawk.
Landon Cato drove in two runs in his ULM debut.

Cole Cressend (0-1) suffered the loss in his first-career start, throwing three innings, giving up five runs, four earned, on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
