MONROE, La. - Four former ULM baseball players continued their 2021 minor league baseball seasons over the past week.
Keegan Curtis, Somerset Patriots (AA, New York Yankees)
Curtis entered just one game for Somerset over the past week, throwing two scoreless innings at New Hampshire on Friday, May 14. He limited the Fisher Cats to one hit while picking up three strikeouts. Curtis has now made three appearances with two saves over four innings, allowing no runs with one hit, one walk and eight strikeouts. Opponents are hitting just .083 against him while posting a 0.50 WHIP. The Patriots went 2-4 in the series at New Hampshire to sit at 7-5 on the season entering this week's series at Hartford.

Chad Bell, Tampa Tarpons (Low-A, New York Yankees)
Bell played in all six games at Lakeland. He picked up a double and a run scored in each of the first two games of the series on Tuesday, May 11 and Wednesday, May 12. He earned two walks on Thursday, May 13. He tallied a hit and a run scored on Saturday, May 15. On the week, Bell went 3-for-20 with two doubles, three runs scored and four walks. On the season, he is hitting .184 with two doubles, one home run, five RBIs, nine runs scored and seven walks. The Tarpons finished 4-2 in the series at Lakeland and are 9-3 on the season. The Tarpons host Fort Myers this week.

Trey Jeans, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (Low-A, Chicago White Sox)
Jeans pitched on Wednesday, May 12 at Fayetteville, pitching 2/3 of an inning, allowing three runs, one earned, on three hits with two walks and one strikeout. Jeans has made three appearances this season, pitching 3 1/3 innings, giving up six runs, four earned, on nine hits with two walks and six strikeouts. The Cannon Ballers picked up their first win of the season on Saturday, May 15, and are 1-11 entering this week's series vs. Columbia.

Trent Tingelstad, Modesto Nuts (Low-A, Seattle Mariners)
Tingelstad played in just one game in the series at Rancho Cucamonga, going 0-for-3 with a walk in the series opener on May 11. He has played in six games this season, hitting .143 with four RBIs, one run scored and two walks. Modesto won five of six games against the Quakes. The Nuts are 9-3 and visit Inland Empire this week.
