ProHawks Update - July 20 - Curtis Promoted to AAA Reno

MONROE, La. – One former Warhawk was promoted as the minor league baseball season continues.
 
Keegan Curtis, Reno Aces (AAA, Arizona Diamondbacks)
Curtis made just four appearances with AA Amarillo before receiving a promotion to AAA Reno from the Arizona Diamondbacks. He went 1-1 with a save in his four outings with the Sod Poodles, covering 3 2/3 innings, allowing three unearned runs on two hits with no walks and three strikeouts. He made his debut with the Reno Aces on Saturday, retiring the only batter he faced against Oklahoma City. Overall, this season Curtis has appeared in 17 games between Reno, Amarillo and Somerset, going 2-2 with three saves over 20 innings with a 3.15 ERA, allowing 12 runs, seven earned, on 16 hits with 30 strikeouts to seven walks.
 
Chad Bell, Hudson Valley Renegades (High-A, New York Yankees)
Bell is riding a five-game hitting streak for Hudson Valley and has homered in his last three contests. He had six hits in last week's series at Wilmington. He opened with an RBI single among his two hits on Tuesday, June 13. He had a single on Wednesday before going 1-for-2 with a solo home run in the second game of a doubleheader on Thursday. Bell continued his hot streak on Saturday with another solo blast before closing the series with his third bomb, three RBIs and two runs scored. With High-A Hudson Valley, Bell has played in 25 games and is hitting .210 with six home runs, two doubles, one triple, 18 RBIs and 11 runs scored. Overall, this season between Hudson Valley and Tampa, he is hitting .249 with 12 home runs, seven doubles, three triples, 37 RBIs and 35 runs scored.
 
Trey Jeans, Winston-Salem Dash (High-A, Chicago White Sox)
Jeans had a solid week in the series at Bowling Green. He made two appearances, throwing four shutout innings with three hits, no walks and eight strikeouts. In the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader, he threw a scoreless inning, striking out three of the four batters he faced. He closed the week with three shutout innings in Sunday's series finale, giving up two hits with five strikeouts. In 13 appearances with Winston-Salem, Jeans is 2-1 with a 6.00 ERA over 24 innings, allowing 16 runs, 15 earned, on 22 hits with 32 strikeouts to 15 walks. Overall, this season Jeans has appeared in 18 games for Winston-Salem and Kannapolis, posting a 2-1 record and 7.03 ERA over 32 innings, allowing 25 runs, 21 earned, on 36 hits with 46 strikeouts and 18 walks.
 
Trent Tingelstad, Modesto Nuts (Low-A, Seattle Mariners)
In the past week, Tingelstad played in four games for Modesto against San Jose. He hit a solo home run on Thursday before adding a single on Friday and a double on Sunday. He scored twice on the week. This season, he has played in 43 games, hitting .226 with 11 doubles, one triple, three home runs, 29 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
