NATCHITOCHES, La. – Sunday night's soccer match between ULM and Northwestern State was declared a no contest after lightning delayed the match with 29:09 remaining in the second half.

It was the second lightning delay for the scoreless match. The first delay postponed kickoff for one hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

No stats from the match count toward season totals. NSU (0-3-2) had a slight edge in shots, 6-5, but ULM (3-0) had more shots on goal, 3-2. Efi Brame, Inge Konst and Theoni Zerva each fired a shot on goal for ULM while Hailey Hillock made two saves in goal.

ULM will again attempt to match the best start to a season in program history at 7 p.m. Friday when it hosts Alcorn at Brown Stadium.
