Assaley Earns Second-Team All-Louisiana Honors

Volleyball
MONROE, La. – ULM senior outside hitter Cali Assaley was named Second-Team All-Louisiana by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association after setting a new ULM 25-point rally scoring era record for kills in 2021.

Assaley closed out her Warhawk career in style, racking up 347 kills and 363.5 points while also accounting for 162 digs. Her 347 kills set a new ULM 25-point rally scoring era record. She had 15 matches with double-digit kills. She had a career-high 28 kills vs. Louisiana Tech and tallied 27 against Georgia State. She earned four double-doubles on the year, coming against LA Tech (28 kills, 14 digs), Grambling (17 kills, 19 digs), Troy (18 kills, 10 digs) and Arkansas State (15 kills, 15 digs).

She is the first Warhawk to earn All-Louisiana recognition since Catherine Griffith was named to the Second Team in 2018. Her All-Louisiana honor is just the 15th in program history.
