Arkansas State is 7-7 on the season and is 0-1 inside Sun Belt Conference play after suffering an 84-75 loss at Georgia Southern on Dec. 30. The Red Wolves have had each of their last two games canceled due to COVID-19 protocols: against Georgia State (Jan. 1) and vs. the Ragin' Cajuns (Jan. 6).

The Red Wolves rank third in the SBC in scoring offense at 79.1 points per game. A-State features four players scoring in double figures. Keya Patton, a transfer from Auburn, leads the way at 12.4 points per game, which ranks eighth in the SBC.
