MONROE, La. – ULM and Marshall played to a scoreless draw Saturday afternoon at Brown Stadium.
The Warhawks (9-2-2 overall, 1-2-1 Sun Belt Conference) had seven shots on the match, putting two on goal. The Thundering Herd (2-6-3, 1-2-1) had 18 shots, placing six shots on frame.
Marshall had three shots on goal in the first half, but ULM goalkeeper
Mickaela Leal made all three saves. ULM's
Efi Brame had ULM's only shot on goal in the first half, coming in the 38th minute, but Marshall's Alexis Wolgemuth made the save to keep the game scoreless at halftime.
The Thundering Herd had three more shots on goal in the second half, all stopped by Leal. ULM's
Santana Pressley had a shot on goal in the 74th minute, but Marshall keeper Alexis Wolgemuth made the stop.
Leal had six saves for ULM and Wolgemuth made both saves for Marshall. Kat Gonzalez led Marshall with four shots on three on goal.
ULM visits South Alabama at 7 p.m. Thursday.
