- South Alabama scored three times in the first 10 minutes of the second half to pull away for a 4-1 win over ULM Thursday night, Oct. 6, at The Cage.

The Jaguars (7-1-5 overall, 3-0-2 Sun Belt Conference) struck early, as Jasmine Greene scored in the second minute for the 1-0 USA lead. USA worked quickly in the second half as well. Imane Addi scored in the 47th minute as the Jags doubled the lead, 2-0. In the 51st minute, Morgan Cross stretched the lead to 3-0. Gray then found the back of the net in the 55th minute for a 4-0 lead.

ULM converted on its only shot on goal of the match as Efi Brame scored in the 90th minute to avoid the shutout, 4-1.

ULM attempted just five shots in the match, while USA had 13, putting six on goal.

Inge Konst and Lena Göppel each scored first half goals as ULM held off Arkansas State's late rally, 2-1, Sunday afternoon at Brown Stadium to pick up three points over the Sun Belt Conference West Division leaders.

In the 30th minute, Konst fired a free kick from the top left corner of the box toward the net. The ball slipped past A-State (6-5-2 overall, 4-2-0 Sun Belt Conference) goalkeeper Olivia Luther to put ULM (10-3-2, 2-3-1) up 1-0.

ULM struck again in the 44th minute. On a corner kick from the left side, Konst's kick came to the front of the net, where it deflected off of Luther and went to Göppel, who sent it past Luther in to the lower right corner of the net for the 2-0 advantage that held to halftime.

Arkansas State made a late push. In the 81st minute, Abigail Miller broke into the box and challenged ULM goalkeeper Mickaela Leal, using the right foot to push the ball past Leal into the bottom right corner of the net to bring the Red Wolves within a goal, 2-1.

Much of the final 10 minutes was played on A-State's offensive end of the field. The Red Wolves earned a corner kick in the final minute, with McKenzie Robinson firing a shot that was stopped by Leal. A scramble ensued off the rebound, but a foul on Arkansas State brought an end to the scrum and secured the win for ULM.
