MONROE, La. – Georgia Southern converted a first-half goal and made it stand up in a 1-0 victory over ULM on Senior Night Thursday at Brown Stadium.

ULM (10-5-2 overall, 2-5-1 Sun Belt Conference) outshot Georgia Southern (6-3-5, 5-1-2), 16-13, but the Eagles made the most of their two shots on goal. The Warhawks put four shots on goal but came up empty.
In the 17th minute, Georgia Southern struck for the only goal of the match, as Ellie McIntyre scored off an assist by Smith Cathey.
ULM had a chance to equalize the match in the 90th minute, but a potential game-tying goal was called off with the Warhawks offside on the opportunity.
The Warhawks head on the road for the final two matches of the regular season, starting at 1 p.m. Sunday at Troy.
