MONROE, La. - The ULM volleyball team concludes the home portion of the schedule at 6 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday as they entertain the Ragin' Cajuns at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Warhawks will honor five players following Saturday's match, including
Daria De Carvalho Peixe,
Darby Fisher,
Kathryn Raschilla,
Mariana Volponi e Giordan and
Madeline Williams.
ULM continues to be led by Williams. The St. Louis, Missouri, native has 298 kills (3.20 per set) to go with 85 digs, 58 blocks and 13 service aces.
Bailey Roberson leads ULM with 639 assists (7.70 per set) while
Cameron Rogers has a team-best 342 digs (3.68 per set).
The Ragin' Cajuns are led by Kelsey Bennett with 176 kills (3.14 per set). The Cajuns have five players with more than 100 kills on the season. Reka Kotorman leads the team with 391 assists (5.59 per set) while Siena DeCambra is right behind at 320 assists (4.67 per set). Coco Gillett paces the club with 219 digs (3.08 per set) while Cam Hicks has 78 blocks (1.08 per set).

RECAP -
Troy volleyball recorded its sixth-straight win with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-21) victory over ULM at Trojan Arena last Friday night. The Warhawks battled back within one point in the third set, but the Trojans took early leads in all three sets. Trojan Tori Hester posted a .412 hitting percentage and match-best 16 kills and 10 digs as Troy hit .324 for the match as a team. For ULM, setter
Bailey Roberson hit .583 with a career- and team-best eight kills and shared team-best honors with seven digs.
Callie Humphrey and
Cameron Rogers also had seven digs a piece.
ULM volleyball battled in all three sets vs. Troy at Trojan Arena last Saturday afternoon, but the Trojans ultimately extended their win streak to seven matches with a 3-0 win (25-18, 25-21, 25-18) over the Warhawks. Three Trojans reached double figures in kills as Hester and Julia Brooks tallied 13 kills each, Amiah Butler had 10 and Jaci Mesa collected a match-best 14 digs. Troy hit .330 for the match while the Warhawks had a .181 hitting percentage.
Madeline Williams led ULM with 11 kills and
Tessa Gerwig and
Logan Jeffus each had seven to help pace ULM.
Humphrey had a team-best 12 digs overall.
SERIES HISTORY -
The Ragin' Cajuns lead the series, 46-21, and have won the last eight meetings. The Cajuns have won the last five meetings by 3-0 margins. ULM last defeated the Cajuns, 3-0, on Nov. 4, 2018, at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Ragin' Cajuns have won the last four meetings in Monroe.
WARHAWKS IN STAT RANKINGS –
ULM ranks inside the Top-50 nationally in team total attacks at 3,381 (11th in NCAA Division I, leads Sun Belt Conference) and 40th in team digs at 1,362 (40th NCAA I, second SBC). The Warhawks rank just outside the Top 50 in team attacks per set at 36.35 (51st NCAA, second SBC).
