MONROE, La. - The ULM soccer team hits the midpoint of Sun Belt Conference play with a pair of matches this week, visiting reigning conference tournament champion South Alabama at 7 p.m. Thursday before hosting defending SBC regular season champion Arkansas State at 1 p.m. Sunday at Brown Stadium.

RECAP -
ULM and Marshall played to a scoreless draw Saturday afternoon at Brown Stadium.
The Warhawks (9-2-2 overall, 1-2-1 Sun Belt Conference) had seven shots on the match, putting two on goal. The Thundering Herd (2-6-3, 1-2-1) had 18 shots, placing six shots on frame.
Marshall had three shots on goal in the first half, but ULM goalkeeper
Mickaela Leal made all three saves. ULM's
Efi Brame had ULM's only shot on goal in the first half, coming in the 38th minute, but Marshall's Alexis Wolgemuth made the save to keep the game scoreless at halftime.
The Thundering Herd had three more shots on goal in the second half, all stopped by Leal. ULM's
Santana Pressley had a shot on goal in the 74th minute, but Marshall keeper Alexis Wolgemuth made the stop.
Leal had six saves for ULM and Wolgemuth made both saves for Marshall. Kat Gonzalez led Marshall with four shots on three on goal.

• vs. South Alabama: 19th meeting. South Alabama leads 17-1. The Jaguars won the first 17 meetings between the two teams until ULM picked up its first-ever win over USA last season, 3-1, on Oct. 10, 2021, at Brown Stadium.
Mara Grutkamp scored twice in the win for ULM, with assists going to

Efi Brame. The Warhawks are 0-10 all time at South Alabama.
• vs. Arkansas State: 21st meeting. Arkansas State leads 15-4-1. ULM defeated the Red Wolves, 2-1, on Nov. 3, 2021, in Foley, Alabama, in the Sun Belt Conference Championship quarterfinals, snapping a five-match losing streak in the series. Grutkamp and Henry scored the goals, with Henry assisting on Grutkamp's goal. A-State won the regular season matchup, 2-1, on Oct. 7, 2021, in Jonesboro.
