MONROE, Ala. – The ULM volleyball team lost 3-0 (24-26, 8-25, 23-25) to Southern Miss Thursday night at Fant-Ewing Coliseum, falling by two points in two sets. It was the ninth time this season the Warhawks had played in a set that required additional points for the decision.

On the defensive end for ULM,
Cameron Rogers had a match-best 14 digs and
Lydia Mesusan had a season-best 10 digs and two blocks.
Southern Miss hit .229 for the match and tallied 49 kills. ULM had half that total with 24 and battled in two sets, but 14 attack errors hurt the Warhawks' chances.
The Warhawks bolted out to a 7-2 lead in set one, but Southern Miss used smaller point-runs to close the gap. ULM clawed back and took a 23-20 lead, scoring six consecutive points, five off Southern Miss errors. The Golden Eagles closed the set strong with another 6-1 point run and had the final three kills to seal the set win.
