MONROE, La. - The ULM volleyball concludes the regular season with two road matches against Georgia State. First serve is set for 6 p.m. EST/5 p.m. CST Thursday and 1 p.m. EST/Noon CST Friday at the GSU Sports Arena.
The Warhawks (7-22 overall, 0-14 Sun Belt Conference) lost both ends of last weekend's series at Arkansas State. ULM was without Madeline Williams, who continues to lead the team in kills (330, 3.24 per set), blocks (64, 0.63 per set) and points (388). Bailey Roberson leads the team with 729 assists (7.44 per set), while Cameron Rogers has reached 400 digs (3.67 per set) on the season to lead the club.
Georgia State (5-21 overall, 1-13 Sun Belt Conference) lost by a pair of 3-1 scores to Old Dominion last weekend in Atlanta. Julianna Truscott leads the team with 224 kills (2.49 per set), but six Panthers have topped 100 kills on the season. Jenna Brown has 517 assists (5.68 per set) and Livy Kowalkowski has 419 digs (4.23 per set).

RECAP -
ULM volleyball rebounded to win the second set, but eventually fell in four sets to Arkansas State last Friday night at First National Bank Arena (16-25, 25-23, 17-25, 17-25). The Red Wolves posted a .276 hitting percentage and had 10 total blocks to fuel their win. Macey Putt paced Arkansas State with a match-best 14 kills while Logan Jeffus and Tessa Gerwig had 12 kills each. Warhawk Cameron Rogers had a match-high 19 digs, tying her top total in a Sun Belt match this season.
A depleted ULM volleyball team found itself on the short end of a 3-0 loss (15-25, 21-25, 15-25) to Arkansas State last Saturday afternoon. The Red Wolves hit nearly .300 as a team for the match with a .485 hitting percentage in the third and final set. Putt had match-best totals with 22 kills and 19 digs for Arkansas State. For the Warhawks, Jeffus posted nine kills and Bailey Roberson and Emily Adams each had 10 digs.
SERIES HISTORY -
Georgia State leads the series 8-3. The two teams have alternated wins in the last five meetings. ULM won last year's match, 3-1 (20-25, 27-25, 25-18, 35-33). Mariana Volponi e Giordan had 49 assists and Cameron Rogers had 14 digs to lead among returning players for ULM. GSU won the last meeting in Atlanta on Oct. 18, 2019, 3-0. The Panthers are 5-0 at home against ULM.
WARHAWKS IN STAT RANKINGS –
ULM ranks inside the Top-50 nationally in team total attacks at 4,008 (fifth in NCAA Division I, leads Sun Belt Conference), team attacks per set at 36.77 (30th NCAA I, first SBC) and team digs at 1,624 (31st NCAA I, first SBC).
Individually inside the Top 100, Cameron Rogers is 90th in total digs at 400 (fifth SBC) and Madeline Williams is 99th in points at 388.0 (fifth SBC).
A LOOK AHEAD -
ULM will play in next week's Sun Belt Conference Championship as the seventh seed from the West Division and will meet the East Division's sixth seed at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Foley, Alabama.
