Saturday's game is the 14th meeting between ULM and Georgia State, with the Panthers leading the series, 11-2. GSU has won six consecutive games in the series, including a season-sweep in 2019-20, winning 68-52 in Atlanta on Jan. 4, 2020, and 52-43 in Monroe on Feb. 15, 2020. ULM last defeated the Panthers, 72-63, in Monroe on Jan. 14, 2017. ULM is 2-4 all-time against GSU at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
Diamond Brooks suffered a season-ending Achilles injury late in the 2022 season-opener at Grambling. She played in 111 games in her career, starting 67 contests. She averaged 5.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and closed her career with a 14-point, six-rebound effort at Grambling. She graduated in December 2020 with a bachelor of science degree in fitness and sports industry and is scheduled to graduate in May with a master of exercise science degree with a concentration in sports management.
Kierra Crockett is closing out her third season at ULM and the fifth season of her collegiate career. Over three seasons at ULM, Crockett has played in 70 games with 64 starts while averaging 5.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. She has played in 20 games with 15 starts this season, averaging 6.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest. She graduated in December 2021 with a bachelor of business administration degree in business administration and started work on her master of business administration degree this spring.

Georgia State is 9-15 overall and 3-9 in the Sun Belt Conference after Thursday's 64-48 loss to the Ragin' Cajuns in Lafayette. The Panthers have lost six of their last seven games, with the only win in the stretch being a 60-57 overtime victory at South Alabama last Saturday.
The Panthers are led by Ashley Foster. The senior guard is averaging 11.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, with both marks leading the team. She also leads the team with 39 assists on the season. Taniyah Worth is second active leading scorer for GSU at 7.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Deasia Merrill is third on the team at 6.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
As a team, Georgia State ranks third in the SBC in 3-point field goal percentage defense, allowing opponents to hit 26.8% from beyond the arc. The Panthers are also third in turnover margin at +2.29 turnovers per game.
