MONROE, La. – A third quarter push by ULM was answered by Little Rock, as the Trojans pulled back away for a 64-47 win Saturday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
Second-year freshman
Kyren Whittington led ULM with 25 points. Little Rock was paced by Raziya Potter's 22 points and Tia Harvey's 14 points. Dariel Johnson and Azaria Robinson had 10 points each.
Little Rock built its lead early, using a 10-2 first quarter run to go on top 12-2 on a bucket by Azaria Robinson. ULM cut the gap to eight by the end of the quarter, 16-8, on a bucket Whittington.

Kierra Crockett, bringing ULM within three, 16-13, with 8:34 left in the half.
Little Rock answered with a 10-0 run to extend the lead to 13, with Potter hitting a 3-pointer off an offensive rebound and completing a three-point play to spark the run. The Trojans extended the lead to as much as 16 at 31-15 on Robinson's layup with 3:13 left in the half.
ULM made a push to close the half, going on a 7-0 run, including a three-point play by Whittington. The Warhawks closed within nine, 31-22, on a putback by van Schaik. A technical foul on ULM head coach
Brooks Donald Williams allowed Little Rock to hit a pair of free throws, and the Trojans extended the lead back to 11 at halftime, 35-24.
The Warhawks fought back in the game to open the third quarter. Whittington knocked down back-to-back layups and then found Crockett for the layup to cut the gap to five, 35-30, with 8:28 left in the quarter.
Little Rock answered out of a timeout, outscoring ULM 21-6 over the remainder of the quarter, with Harvey scoring 10 of her points in the frame. The Trojans led 56-36 after three quarters.
ULM was able to get no closer than 15 points down the stretch as Little Rock went on to the 64-47 win.
The Warhawks play a makeup contest against Arkansas State at 5 p.m. Monday
