ULM Track Ready for Texas Relays and Bobcat Invite

MONROE, La. - The ULM men's and women's track and field teams head to Texas to compete in a pair of meets this weekend. The Warhawks will take part in the annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays as well as the Bobcat Invitational at Texas State.
 
The Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays will include 11 ULM participants. Among them are Cole McKnight and Callan Saldutto, who both compete in the javelin.
 
Jasmine Williams and Amanda Radava will both compete in the 400-meter hurdles. Williams will also compete in the 4x400 relay along with Brittney Roberson, Kimone Campbell and Fiebe Tengrootenhuysen. Jasmine Williams placed second last week in 1:01.61
 
Keith Roberson and Vonte Perry will both compete in the 100-meter dash.
 
The women's DMR team will also compete at Texas Relays. The team includes Brittney Roberson, Eliana Battle, Kimone Campbell, and Amanda Radava
 
Brandon Lewis will compete in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles.
 
Bobcat Invitational Preview: The meet will be held at both the Texas State University Track and Field Stadium and Bobcat Stadium (Football Field).
 
The Warhawks will have 19 women and 18 male competitors at the Bobcat Invitational.
 
ULM's duo of Brittney Roberson and Fiebe Tengrootenhuysen will compete in the 400-meter dash. This will be their first time competing in the event in the outdoor season.
 
The Warhawks will have four competitors in the women's 800-meter run: Kimone Campbell, Savana Lawson, Amanda Ravada and Rebekka Schubert.
 
Six Warhawks will be competing in the women's long jump. This includes Olaia Becerril Alvarez, Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi, Savana Lawson, Nasya Ramirez, Krystyan Reddic, and Rebekka Schubert. Eunice Ilunga claimed the first long jump title of her career last week at Louisiana Classics with a jump of 19-1.5. Olaia Becerril Alvarez was second at 18-11.75, Rebekka Schubert was third at 18-8 and Nasya Ramirez was fifth at 18-7.
 
The men's unit will have five competitors in the 400-meter dash including Bailey Couch, Eric Hawkins, Juan Loredo, Joseph McEvoy, and Joseph White. Juan Loredo opened up with 49.27 last week at Louisiana Classics.
 
The Warhawks will also have three competitors in the men's 1500 run: Juwan Blignaut, Brayden Ortiz, and Rojs Puks. At the Louisiana Classics last week, Blignaut was third in 3:58.31 and Puks was fifth in 4:00.91.
