MONROE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball team dropped Friday's opener at the Bayou Beach Bash, 4-1, to Stephen F. Austin at the ULM Beach Volleyball Courts.
SFA won the first point with the No. 4 pair of Maren Wisener and Jordan James defeating ULM sophomore
Kaitlyn Nowak and junior
Abigail Elder, 2-1 (17-21, 24-22, 15-13). The Ladyjacks followed with a win at No. 1 as Natalie Bennett and Madison Hall bested senior
Audrey Brooks and junior
Julia Blazek, 2-1 (12-21, 21-18, 18-16).
SFA clinched the match at the No. 2 pair as Liv Unnasch and Madison Horton bested seniors

ULM picked up its only point at the No. 3 pair, as senior

Brooke Hoven took the 2-0 (21-11, 21-18) decision over Barbara Martin and Sadie Shipman.
SFA closed out the dual with a 2-0 (21-15, 21-18) win at No. 5, as Suzana Andade and Kelly Johnson beat ULM sophomore
