MONROE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball team split its two duals on the second day of the Bayou Bash, falling to Houston Baptist, 4-1, before bouncing back with a sweep of Nicholls, 5-0.
ULM (3-4) continues its season next week at the Gamecock Grand Slam at South Carolina.

ULM picked up its only win of the weekend, 5-0, with a sweep of Nicholls to close Bayou Bash Saturday afternoon. The Warhawks won all 14 sets contested with the Colonels.
Nowak and Gray started off with a win at No. 5, beating Jamya Holmes and Yani Johnson, 2-0 (21-15, 21-15). Brooks and Blazek rolled at No. 1 with a 2-0 win over Kylie Lockhard and Devon Bright, 21-14, 21-7. Moreland and Hoven cruised at No. 3 against Kennedi Steele and Aspen Steele, 2-0 (21-14, 21-9). Elder and Bufkin swept Katie Jones and Kate Hoerdemann, 2-0 (21-12, 21-14). Gallant and Adams capped the clean sweep of the Colonels with a 2-0 win over Emily Gauthreaux and Kadie Becnel, 21-12, 22-20.
