OXFORD, Miss. – Ten ULM track and field athletes placed inside the Top 10 on the final day of the Joe Walker Invitational at the Ole Miss Track and Field Complex Saturday. Overall, ULM had 15 Top-10 performances over the two-day event.
Bailey Couch won the men's decathlon with a total of 6,258 points. He won the 100 meters (11.17), 400 meters (53.08), javelin (201-0) and long jump (21-2 3/4) to take control in the event.
Also on the men's side,
Ali Eren Unlu was second in the high jump, clearing 6-9.
Juan Loredo was fourth in the 400 in 49.03 while
Joseph White was right behind him in fifth in 49.11.
Keith Robinson was fifth in the 100 in 10.62.
Riley Finnegan was eighth in the discus with a throw of 159-9.
Devin Bilbo was ninth in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.79. Langston Powell rounded out the men's Top 10 finishers in 10th place in the high jump at 6-1 1/4.
For the women,
Khrystyan Reddic was fifth in the triple jump at 36-9 3/4.
Savanna Lawson was seventh overall in the heptathlon, accumulating 4,385 points. Her best event was the 200, placing third in 25.59.
The Warhawks continue the outdoor season at the War Eagle Invitational at Auburn next week.
