MATCH NOTES
MONROE, La. - ULM prepares to play three matches in five days, with two on the road, starting with a home match against Jackson State at 6 p.m. Friday. The match was moved to Monroe on Tuesday due to the ongoing water crisis in Jackson, Mississippi. The Warhawks then continue the non-conference schedule with two more SWAC schools, facing Mississippi Valley State at 1 p.m. Sunday in Itta Bena, Mississippi, before heading to Southern at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Baton Rouge. Admission for Friday's match vs. Jackson State is $5.

RECAP -
Ashley Washburn scored twice and Lena Göppel added a penalty kick goal as ULM defeated Grambling, 3-2, on Friday, Aug. 26, at Brown Stadium. All five combined goals were scored in the second half. Kédie Johnson and Mara Grutkamp picked up the assists on Washburn's goals. Mickaela Leal notched two saves for ULM.
ULM fought to a 2-2 draw at Alcorn on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Casem-Spinks Stadium in Lorman, Mississippi. Grutkamp opened the scoring just before halftime off an assist from Sophia Youngman, but Alcorn tied the match with 16 seconds left in the half. The Lady Braves claimed the lead early in the second half, but Göppel answered for ULM off an assist from Grutkamp. ULM outshot Alcorn, 21-6, including a 10-5 advantage in shots on goal.
SERIES HISTORY –
ULM leads the series against Jackson State, 1-0. It is the first meeting between the two teams since Sept. 19, 2004, a 6-0 ULM victory.
ULM leads the series against Mississippi Valley State, 6-3. The Devilettes last defeated ULM in Itta Bena, 1-0, on Sept. 8, 2006.
ULM leads the series against Southern, 9-1. ULM won the first nine meetings in series history.
A LOOK AHEAD -
After playing three matches in five days, the busy stretch continues after two off days. The Warhawks will take on Texas Southern on Friday, Sept. 9, and Tarleton State on Sunday, Sept. 11, at Brown Stadium. Admission is $5, and both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
