MATCH NOTES
MONROE, La. - The ULM volleyball team continues non-conference schedule with three matches at the Molly Howard Gerwig Memorial Tournament, hosted by Houston Baptist, on Friday and Saturday. The Warhawks meet Bethune-Cookman at 12:30 p.m. Friday and UC Riverside at 4 p.m. Friday. ULM wraps up its run in Houston at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Warhawks are trying to bounce back after an 0-3 weekend at the Texan Invitational at Tarleton State to open the season last week.

RECAP -
The Warhawks enter the Molly Howard Gerwig Memorial Tournament at Houston Baptist after going 0-3 at last week's season-opening Texan Invitational at Tarleton State. ULM lost a pair of five-set heartbreakers to Northwestern State and Fairleigh Dickinson before falling 3-0 to Tarleton in the finale.
Graduate
Madeline Williams made her ULM debut with 42 kills over the three matches, good for 3.23 per set. She had 19 kills against FDU.
Freshman
Bailey Roberson racked up 90 assists in her first collegiate weekend, averaging 6.92 per set. She posted two double-doubles, with 22 assists and 14 digs vs. NSU and 42 assists and 10 digs vs. FDU. She also led the team with eight service aces, with five against FDU.
Sophomore
Cameron Rogers paced the team in digs with 56, or 4.31 per set. She topped 20 digs twice, doing so with 23 vs. NSU and 21 vs. FDU.
SERIES HISTORY -
• vs. Bethune-Cookman – First meeting.
• vs. UC Riverside - First meeting.
• vs. Houston Baptist – HBU leads the series, 5-0. The Huskies have won three of the five meetings by 3-0 scores, while winning the other two by 3-1 margins. HBU swept ULM in the last meeting, 3-0, on Sept. 12, 2020, at the Stephen F. Austin Tournament.
A LOOK AHEAD -
ULM continues its non-conference schedule with a match at I-20 foe Louisiana Tech at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston. The Warhawks then travel to Central Arkansas for the UCA Invitational, facing the Sugar Bears, LA Tech and Southern Illinois on Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10.
