MONROE, La. - The ULM soccer team continues Sun Belt Conference play at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown Stadium as they meet Marshall for the first time in program history. Admission costs $5, and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.

RECAP -
ULM made all three of its shots on goal count, scoring on all three while adding another goal on a Southern Miss own goal, as the Warhawks picked up their first Sun Belt Conference win of the season, 4-1, Thursday night at Brown Stadium.
 
Mara Grutkamp led the charge for ULM with a goal and two assists, while Mickaela Leal made five saves in goal. Inge Konst and Courtney Marten added the other two goals for the Warhawks.
 
Texas State jumped out to a quick lead and didn't look back, picking up a 4-1 win over ULM Sunday afternoon at Bobcat Soccer Complex.
 
The Bobcats fired 20 shots, placing 11 on goal, to just 11 shots for ULM, with three on net.
 
Madi Goss had a hat trick for Texas State, while Kiara Gonzales added the other goal for the Bobcats. ULM's lone goal came in the 62nd minute, as Paula Guba scored off an assist by Konst.
 
SERIES HISTORY –
Saturday's match is the first-ever meeting between ULM and Marshall in soccer.

Individually, Mara Grutkamp and Inge Konst rank inside the Top 50 in NCAA stat categories. Grutkamp is 12th in total assists (6, first SBC) and assists per game (0.55, first SBC) while Konst is 37th in total goals (6, second SBC).
 
A LOOK AHEAD –
ULM visits South Alabama at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, before returning home to take on Arkansas State at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at Brown Stadium.
