MATCH NOTES
MONROE, La. -Â The ULM volleyball team plays its first of three midweek matches at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Louisiana Tech. The Warhawks are coming off the first weekend sweep in non-conference play since 1990 by taking all three matches at the Molly Howard Gerwig Memorial Tournament at Houston Baptist, topping Bethune-Cookman, 3-0, UC Riverside, 3-1, and HBU, 3-1. LA Tech went 0-3 at the Fresno State Invitational.

RECAP -
The Warhawks enter Tuesday's match at Louisiana Tech coming off three victories over the weekend at the Molly Howard Gerwig Memorial Tournament at Houston Baptist.
ULM rolled to a 3-0 win over Bethune-Cookman in the first match on Friday. ULM won 25-21, 25-18, 25-16.
Logan Jeffus led the Warhawks with 11 kills.
Bailey Roberson added 18 assists.
Madeline Williams,
Taylor Thomas and
Callie Humphrey tallied six digs each while Williams added three blocks.
The Warhawks bounced back from a first set loss to UC Riverside to take the next three from the Highlanders, winning 23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-18 on Friday afternoon. Williams and Jeffus led the way with 10 kills apiece, while Roberson notched 28 assists.
Cameron Rogers posted 24 digs and Thomas added 15.
Tessa Gerwig added three blocks.
In Saturday's tournament finale, ULM set the tone with a dominant start and bounced back from a rough third set to finish off the host HBU Huskies in four sets, 25-8, 28-26, 8-25, 25-19.
Brynn Botkin paced ULM with 13 kills and Williams tallied 11. Roberson picked up 33 assists. Rogers had 17 digs, Thomas added 15 and Humphrey had 13.
For their efforts, Williams was named MVP of the tournament while Rogers and Jeffus were named to the All-Tournament Team.
SERIES HISTORY -
Louisiana Tech leads the all-time series with ULM, 26-15. ULM rallied from a 2-0 deficit to win last year's meeting, 3-2 (18-25, 25-27, 25-22, 26-24, 15-10).
Cali Assaley picked up 28 kills while
Avery Cole added 26.
Mariana Volponi e Giordan notched 38 assists and
Madeline Hogan had 26 digs. The two sides have split the last six meetings, with ULM picking up wins at the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston in 2018 (3-2) and 2016 (3-0).

ULM travels to Central Arkansas for the UCA Invitational, facing the Sugar Bears, LA Tech and Southern Illinois on Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10.
