MONROE, La. - For the first time in the 2023-24 season, the ULM women's basketball team passed the 100-point mark as they handled Louisiana Christian 107-53 on Tuesday night at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

ULM has won five straight games to open the season 5-1. Tuesday's game was an exhibition for LCU.

Nunu Bradford led ULM with a double-double, posting 28 points and 15 rebounds while adding six assists.
Jakayla Johnson and
Chardai Watkins added 14 points apiece.

In the first quarter, with the Warhawks leading 4-3, they used a 14-2 scoring run to increase the lead. ULM's defense was able to once again hold its opponent to a low score as it held LCU to just eight points. The Warhawks ended the first quarter with an 18-point lead, 26-8. Nunu Bradford produced 11 points in the quarter.

ULM didn't let up in the second. With 4:33 left to go in the quarter
Katlyn Manuel made a layup which set the Warhawk lead to 25. In the final two minutes, Bradford scored six points, which pushed the halftime lead to 33, 54-21.

With the score at 61-26, a 14-2 scoring run put ULM up by 47 points. Another 8-0 run put the lead past the 50-point mark. The Warhawks already had 85 points at the end of the third quarter with a 52-point lead, and went on to the 54-point win, 107-53.

The Warhawks won't have to travel far as they face off against Louisiana Tech in Ruston next week. Tip-off is at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
