MONROE, La. -- Four student-athletes from the University of Louisiana Monroe football team were placed on the 2023 Academic All-District Football Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday (Dec. 19).

Sophomore cornerback David Godsey, Jr., junior offensive lineman Jay Mickle, junior linebacker Travor Randle and senior linebacker Nick Torres were the featured Warhawks on the CSC All-District Football Team.

With the recognition, the Warhawks' four honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America selections will be announced Jan. 23, 2024.
