Four Warhawks finished in double-figures in ULM's seventh-straight win.

MONROE, La. – The ULM women's basketball team (7-1) cruised to a dominant 101-38 victory over Champion Christian (3-3) on Tuesday (Dec. 5) afternoon inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe, La.

The Warhawks forced the Tigers to commit 39 turnovers and ULM racked up 31 steals in the seventh consecutive victory for the Warhawks. Daisha Bradford and Sania Wells both totaled five steals in the win. ULM capitalized on Champion Christian's turnovers and poured in 56 points from turnovers.

Offensively, all 11 Warhawks on Missy Bilderback's roster scored in the contest. The Warhawks shot 49.3% from the field and swished nine three-point baskets. Bradford eclipsed the 25-point mark for the fifth time this season and registered a game-high 26 points. Wells (14 points), Lauren Gross (11 points) and Katlyn Manuel (10 points) all finished in double figures for ULM. Manuel grabbed 11 rebounds for her first double-double this season. Olivia Knight handed out six assists while Bradford and Wells both finished with four.

With ULM trailing by two points, Bradford knocked down the game's first three-pointer and put the Warhawks ahead, 7-6. After Johnson sank a pair of free throws, Bradford stole the Champion Christian inbounds pass and skipped a pass to Miles for a layup. The Warhawks continued to pour in buckets in the closing minutes of the first half with Bradford, Knight and Wells all making layups. Gross and Knight both hit shots from downtown and helped the Warhawks close out the first quarter on a 20-5 scoring run.

Bradford opened the scoring in the second quarter with her second three-point bucket of the game. ULM's lead grew to 20 when Johnson sank a pair of free throws with 7:16 left in the second quarter. Bradford tracked down an offensive rebound and dished a pass to Wells for a three to push the ULM lead to 41-14. The Warhawks' lead grew to 35 points when Wells drove to the rim for a layup after a steal to force a Champion Christian timeout. ULM maintained a 51-18 lead after the first 20 minutes of action.

The Warhawks continued to build its lead in the second half and ignited a 15-0 scoring run late in the third quarter. Bradford nailed a three-point bucket that brought the lead to 72-26 with 1:59 remaining in the third. Manuel added a pair of layups to complete the massive scoring run and ULM led by 50 points with less than a minute remaining in the third quarter. A Wells jumper and a Dee Haymer steal-and-score increased ULM's lead to 87-33 with just over six minutes on the clock in the final quarter. Rhi Ockwell secured an offensive board that turned into a second-chance basket for Manuel with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. Ockwell went a perfect 3-for-3 at the charity stripe and boosted the Warhawks' advantage to 99-38 inside two minutes to play.
