LAKE CHARLES, La. – The ULM tennis team dropped Friday's dual at McNeese, 4-2.
 
ULM (2-8 overall) won the doubles point as Alessandra Anghel and Angela Del Campo Suarez defeated Tiana Fox and Ariane Monlleo Sanchis, 6-3, on court one and Giovanna Pereira and Mariam Hatem knocked off Luna Jokanovic and Natalia Ballo, 6-4, on court two. Maria Wang Martinez and Emma-Lou Pommiers defeated ULM's Mackenzie King and Alice Klinteby on court three, 6-1.
 
In singles play, McNeese tied the match at 1 on court five as Monlleo Sanchis topped Tamara Bachmann, 6-0, 6-2. The Cowgirls took the lead on court six where Wang Martinez won over Hatem, 7-5, 6-2. ULM tied the match back at 2 as Anghel defeated Pommiers, 6-2, 6-3, on court one. McNeese bounced back with a win on court two as Heta Nuutinen won over Klinteby, 6-4, 6-3. The Cowgirls won the match on court three as Fox outlasted Pereira, 6-4, 2-6, 6-0.
 
ULM returns to the court at 11 a.m. Saturday at Houston.
