NEW ORLEANS – The ULM tennis team dropped Saturday's dual at Tulane, 6-1.
 
Alice Klinteby had ULM's (1-4) only win of the afternoon, coming at No. 3 singles by a 6-4, 3-6, 10-4, decision against Tulane's (2-2) Kristen Borland.
 
Tulane earned the first six points of the day. The Green Wave won the doubles point as Lahari Yelamanchili and Charlotte Russell defeated Alessandra Anghel and Klinteby, 6-0, on court one and Adelaide Lavery and Jiayun Zhu topped Oleksandra Balaba and Angela del Campo Suarez, 6-3, on court two. In singles play, Russell beat Giovanna Pereira, 6-0, 6-1, on court five for the 2-0 lead. Zhu defeated del Campo Suarez, 6-0, 6-1, on court four. Tulane clinched the dual on court six when Brooke Theis topped Tamara Bachmann, 6-1, 6-1. The Green Wave added wins on court two, as Lavery defeated Balaba, 6-3, 6-1, and on court one, where Yelamanchili won against Anghel, 6-3, 6-1.
 
ULM wraps up the trip to south Louisiana at noon on Sunday at Nicholls.
