NORFOLK, Va. – No. 24 Old Dominion picked up a 7-0 victory over the ULM tennis team Sunday morning in a Sun Belt Conference match at Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
 
The Monarchs earned the doubles point as Shahar Biran and Alesya Yakubovich won over Oleksandra Balaba and Mackenzie King, 6-0, on court two, and Mya Byrd and Sofia Johnson won over Alice Klinteby and Giovanna Pereira, 6-4, on court three.
 
In singles play, ODU's lead moved to 2-0 on court six as Byrd defeated Tamara Bachmann, 6-0, 6-1. On court two, Biran picked up a 6-2, 6-2, win over Balaba. ODU clinched the win on court four as Alexandra Viktorovich beat Angela Del Campo Suarez, 6-3, 6-1. The Monarchs finished the sweep as Yakubovich topped Klinteby, 6-4, 6-3, on court three, Johnson held off Alessandra Anghel, 6-2, 4-6, 10-3, on court one and Allison Isaacs won over Pereira, 6-2, 6-7 (2-7), 10-4.
 
ULM plays four of its final five duals at Heard Stadium, starting at 10 a.m. Thursday against Coastal Carolina.
