MONROE, La. – Graduate middle blocker
Madeline Williams was named a 2022 Second-Team All-Louisiana selection Wednesday by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. The All-Louisiana Volleyball Team honors were selected by the state's media relations directors.
Williams put her name in the ULM record books for the 25-point rally scoring era during the 2022 season, ranking first in hitting percentage at .305, second in kills at 365 and second in block solos at 28. She averaged 3.20 kills per set and 0.63 blocks per set. She had 20 matches with 10-or-more kills, including a season-high 20 in the finale at the Sun Belt Conference Championship vs. Marshall, and 19 coming three times, against Fairleigh Dickinson, Northwestern State and App State. She also totaled 100 digs, 72 blocks and 15 service aces.
