MONROE, La. – The ULM volleyball team finishes its non-conference stretch when it travels to Lake Charles to take on McNeese Tuesday night.
The Warhawks (4-9 overall) dropped two out of three matches in the Battle for the Boot tournament last week at Northwestern State. They lost the first match to Southeastern, 3-1, before winning in five sets against Southern. ULM lost the final mat ochn Saturday versus the host Demons, 3-0.
The Warhawks added another one of their own to an all-tournament team last weekend when
Brynn Botkin made the team. Over the weekend, she totaled 29 kills in three matches and produced 22 digs.
The series history between the two teams stands at 38-15 in favor of McNeese (2-11 overall; 1-0 Southland Conference). The series started in 1982 and the last meeting was in 2021 with a 3-0 Warhawk loss. The Warhawks last beat McNeese in 2019.
The match will take place at the Legacy Center at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
