• The ULM women's basketball team closes out a two-game road trip at Georgia Southern on Saturday (Jan. 6)  afternoon in Statesboro. The Warhawks and the Eagles will play inside Hanner Fieldhouse at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon.
• The Warhawks secured its first Sun Belt Conference win of the season on Thursday night with an 82-65 road victory at Georgia State.
Daisha Bradford sank a career-high seven three-point buckets and finished with 30 points in the win, shooting 11-for-16 from the field. Bradford's standout performance included five rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals. She reached the 30-point mark for the third time this season and was just three points shy of her career-high that she registered earlier this season versus Milwaukee. Entering this week, Bradford was one of four women's college basketball players that are averaging above 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists this season, joining Iowa's Caitlin Clark, Notre Dame's Hannah Hidalgo and Wofford's Rachel Rose.
In Thursday's win,
Sania Wells scored a season-high 18 points and threw in a trio of 3-point buckets to go along with three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Jakayla Johnson handed out a career-high eight assists and led the Warhawks with four steals. Johnson also contributed 12 points and five rebounds.
Lauren Gross tallied a pair of three-point buckets and finished with eight points.
• The Warhawks snapped a three-game losing streak in Thursday's victory at Georgia State. ULM generated an eight-game winning streak that spanned November and December, which was the program's largest winning streak since the 2006-07 season.
SATURDAY'S GAME BASICSÂ Â Â
ULM and Georgia Southern meet for the 14th time in history Saturday afternoon at the Hanner Fieldhouse in Statesboro, Georgia.
Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Dan Hulvey (play-by-play) and Cameron Belcher (analyst) on the call. The game also will air on KMLB 105.7 FM/540 AM and the TuneIn app on the Warhawk Radio Network from Learfield with Ben Milam on the play-by-play.

The Eagles fell to Troy on Thursday evening 74-71, snapping a nine-game winning streak. Georgia Southern trailed by as many as 18 points in the game and trimmed the deficit to one point in the final minute of action. Â The Trojans held off Georgia Southern in the final minute at Hanner Fieldhouse.
Georgia Southern leads the country in rebounds per game (50.71) and offensive rebounds per game (19.9). The Eagles rank inside the national top 20 in steals per game (18th, 11.9), bench points per game (12th, 31.1), field goal percentage defense (20th, 34.5%) and turnovers forced per game (13th, 23.1).
Helping Georgia Southern earn its top rebounding marks is senior guard/forward Terren Ward. The Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Team honoree and two-time All-SBC honoree has tracked down 147 total rebounds and averages 10.5 rebounds per game. Ward is Georgia Southern's leading scorer at 23.1 points per game, which is the sixth-highest average in the nation. Simone James has tallied 27 steals, the sixth-highest mark in the conference.
Georgia Southern is led by Anita Howard, who is in her fifth season at the helm of Georgia Southern women's basketball. Howard began her coaching journey at NCAA Division II Columbus State, where she led the Cougars to two Division II Championship appearances.
