WEST POINT, Miss. -- The ULM women's golf team completed its fall season on Wednesday (Oct. 23) at The Ally held at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss. As a team, the Warhawks finished 11th of 16 teams with a cumulative score of 898 (+34).
"I am disappointed with our finish this week," said ULM women's golf head coach
Rachel Pollock. We played 27 holes of really solid golf. We made too many mistakes today and yesterday afternoon to be able to compete with the best teams in the country."
Daniela Campillo finished inside the top-10 for the second time this fall season with an overall score of -2. Campillo posted an average score of 2.92 on par threes, which was the seventh-best scoring average in the field.
Isabel Mas Pitarch jumped up the leaderboard six spots on the final day after shooting one-over par in her final round and registered a 225.
Anna Andrysova fired a 229 and
Johanna Sjursen recorded a 231 in her final event of the fall season.
Tessa Ion rounded out the Warhawks' lineup with a 237.
ULM is scheduled to open the spring season at the UCF Challenge in Orlando on Feb. 2, 2025.
"I know our potential and where we can be, we just need to minimize our mistakes," said Pollock. "We're going to work really hard in the off-season to make sure that we take advantage of a strong schedule in the spring."
